Manager, Credit Recovery

Job Description / Responsibility
  • Develop and implement an effective and efficient credit policy, approval process that properly addresses client character, Nature of Business, capacity of the company;
  • Work with risk management to identify current and potential credit risks and develop suitable mitigation/prevention strategies;
  • Work with operations and Sales/Marketing team to analyze competitive environment at the dealer level and recommend alternative competitive strategies;
  • Ensure monthly credit recovery work plan has been firmly implemented assigned personnel;
  • Supervise collection concern personnel in their day to day collection follow and compare with the collection plan.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled field visit as well as surprise visit to ensure credit policies and procedures are properly implemented and followed by the staff;
  • Ensure sales personnel understand and the contingency credit recovery plan and knows how/when to put it in place.
  • Analyze delinquent accounts and prepare report on highest risk accounts including recommendation for resolution;
  • Weekly, monthly reporting for overdue, Area/Region wise collection and recovery performance.
  • Initiate legal procedure coordinate with legal department where necessary.;
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the seniors/managements from time to time.

    MBA/ Masters/ from any recognized University.
