DTU has started the recruitment process for a total of 66 posts in the non-teaching department and today is the last day to apply. This opportunity is very important for those candidates who are looking for government jobs. According to the released notification, 50 posts have been earmarked for Junior Office Assistant and 16 posts for Data Entry Operator. By getting appointment on these posts, the candidates will get the opportunity of permanent government job, therefore the eligible candidates are being advised not to delay and complete the online application process immediately.
For the post of Junior Office Assistant, candidates are required to be proficient in administrative work, which includes file management, handling of documents, record updating and computer based work. Whereas for the post of Data Entry Operator, skills of fast and accurate typing, computer operation, data entry and report preparation are considered essential. The minimum qualification for both the posts has been fixed at 12th or graduation and along with this, computer knowledge and typing skills are mandatory.
What should be the age limit?
Talking about age limit, the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 35 years. Age relaxation will be provided to SC, ST and other reserved categories as per government rules. According to the details released by the institute, out of total 66 posts, 50 posts are for Junior Office Assistant and 16 posts are for Data Entry Operator, who will play an important role in both administrative and technical work.
This is how the selection will be done
The selection process includes stages like written examination, computer skill or typing test and document verification. The final selection will be done on the basis of merit list and changes in the selection process are also possible according to the post. Talking about the application fee, the fee has been fixed at Rs 500 for General and OBC candidates, while Rs 250 for SC, ST and women candidates, which has to be deposited through online mode only.
how much salary
Pay scale varies according to posts. Monthly salary for general posts can range from Rs 25,000 to Rs 40,000, while for technical and specialist posts it can be Rs 45,000 to Rs 56,000 or even more. The pay scale may also be revised from time to time as per the rules of the institute.
