A very sad news has come out from Bollywood and TV world. Famous actor Satish Shah has passed away at the age of 74. It is being told that Satish Shah was suffering from serious kidney related disease. Satish Shah breathed his last on 25th October at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.
According to the information, due to long-running kidney problem, he was admitted to the hospital, where he died during treatment. While Satish Shah’s career in Bollywood and TV world was long for more than four decades, he had made a special place in the hearts of millions of viewers with the character of Indravadan Sarabhai in the hit TV show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.
Satish Shah died of kidney disease
Born in Gujarat and brought up in Mumbai, Satish Shah made the audience laugh and think through his art. His comic timing, simple personality and professionalism made him the comedy king in the industry. According to the information, Satish Shah was suffering from kidney failure. Kidney failure is a condition when the kidneys gradually stop working and are unable to remove toxins from the body. As this disease progresses, the patient starts having problems like fatigue, swelling, difficulty in breathing and blood pressure.
Kidney disease progresses slowly and people often ignore the initial symptoms considering them normal. Experts point out many symptoms which can be dangerous to ignore. Experts say that if you start urinating more or less, then do not ignore it. If there is swelling, constant fatigue or weakness on the face, legs or under the eyes, do not ignore it. These can be early symptoms of kidney disease. Apart from this, if you have problems like loss of appetite or difficulty in breathing, do not ignore these also. Because these can also be the initial symptoms of kidney disease, which can become very dangerous in the future.
Kidney disease becomes dangerous in the fourth stage
Satish Shah’s illness was serious as it was in stage 4. Actually, stage 4 of kidney disease is chronic kidney disease. In this stage, about 75 to 85 percent of kidney function is lost. Kidney is a very important organ for the body, which filters the blood. Balances fluids and electrolytes in the body, controls hormones and keeps blood pressure and bones healthy. In such a situation, when the kidney gets seriously affected, it is unable to remove toxins and excess fluid from the body. Due to which high blood pressure, heart disease, anemia, bone weakness and other health related problems can occur.
What is the treatment of kidney?
When your kidney problem reaches stage 4, it is very important to reduce its risk. In such a situation, doctors usually advise to keep blood pressure and blood sugar under control. Apart from this, the doctor also tells about controlling the amount of salt, protein and phosphorus. If the disease reaches the last stage then the patient needs dialysis or kidney transplant. Without treatment, this condition can also prove fatal.
