Big news has come for thousands of candidates dreaming of becoming teachers. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the provisional answer key for the February session of Central Teacher Eligibility Test i.e. CTET 2026. Now the candidates who appeared in the examination can see the correct answers to their questions by visiting the official website. Along with this, if any candidate feels that the answer to any question has been given wrong, then he can also register an objection on it.
CBSE has released the answers of CTET on its official website ctet.nic.in. Candidates can easily download the answer key by logging into the website. For this, candidates will have to enter their roll number and date of birth. Date of birth has to be filled in the format of DD/MM/YYYY. As soon as the information is filled, the answer key will appear on the screen. After the release of the answer key, now the candidates can estimate how their performance was in the examination and how many questions they could get correct.
What to do if the answer is wrong
CBSE has also given the facility to the candidates that if they have any doubt on the answer to any question, they can raise objection on it.
For this, the candidate will have to choose the question on which he has objection. After this he will have to explain why he considers the answer wrong. The candidate will also have to upload relevant documents or proof in support of his/her claim. After this the application will have to be submitted by paying the prescribed fee.
Team of experts will investigate
CBSE has said that all the objections sent by the candidates will be investigated by a team of experts. If during investigation it is found that the answer to any question is actually wrong, then it will be corrected. After this the final answer key will be released.
Result will be made on the basis of final answer key
The board has made it clear that the final result of CTET will be prepared on the basis of the final answer key. There is a possibility that the result of the examination may be released by the end of this month. Therefore, candidates have been advised to keep visiting the official website from time to time.

- Candidates first go to the official website of CTET.
- A link named “CTET Feb-2026 Key Challenge / Scanned Images of OMR” will appear on the homepage.
- After clicking on this link, the candidate will have to fill his roll number and date of birth.
- As soon as the information is submitted, it will open on the answer screen.
- After this the candidates can view it carefully and download it.
- At last, candidates can also take out its print copy for further reference.
