Easy Ways To Stay Fit: How to stay fit if you don’t have time or don’t feel like it? These tips given by health experts will keep you absolutely healthy

How To Stay Fit Without Exercise: Often when it comes to staying fit, we are advised to join a gym, run in the mountains or enroll in a high-intensity workout class. But the reality is that everyone neither has that much time nor the desire to exercise every day, in such a situation the question arises that if there is a shortage of time or the body does not support, then is it possible to stay fit? Let us give you the answer to this question.

What do experts say?

Health researcher Jo Blodgett believes that long daily workouts are not necessary for fitness. According to Blodgett, who is a senior research fellow at the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health at University College London, even small physical movements made throughout the day can have a big impact on health. He says that if even a little extra effort is added to everyday life, the body starts getting benefits from it.

Find opportunities to keep yourself fit

According to him, an easy way to stay fit is to find such opportunities in your daily routine where light, vigorous activity can be done without any preparation. Like take the stairs instead of the lift. There is no need to climb the entire 10 to 12 floors, climb two floors and then take the lift. Get off the bus one stop early and walk briskly till the last stop. If you already walk, then increase your speed a little between two pillars or light posts. Research shows that one or two minutes of vigorous activity a few times a day can help improve heart health.

No dependence on gym and sports only

Blodget also says that it is good to go to the gym once or twice a week or do sports occasionally, but it is not right to depend only on this. Despite exercising, many people remain sitting on a chair or sofa for most of the day. For such people, she believes that the real challenge is to move throughout the day and not just a few minutes in the gym.

He says that sitting continuously for a long time can be harmful for the body, even if you work out daily. Therefore, it is important to get up occasionally during work, walk around a bit and move the body. Small changes like taking a walk during your lunch break or walking during a phone call also help in keeping the body active.

Need to change attitude towards fitness

Blodgett believes that there is a need to change the way we look at fitness, instead of just counting how much exercise you did, it is more important to look at how much time you spent throughout the day without moving. If this time is reduced, then improvement in health automatically starts appearing. According to him, household chores, lifting things, cleaning or playing with children are also good ways to keep the body active. There is no fixed rule as to how much activity is enough every day, but it can definitely be said that the more the body is moved, the better the effect will be on health.
