Galaxy Z Fold 8 vs iPhone Fold: For the last few years, Samsung is the only company which is selling its foldable phones all over the world. Now Apple is also going to enter this segment, which is sure to challenge Samsung’s monopoly. Apple will launch its first foldable iPhone in September this year. Just a few months before that, Samsung will also launch its new foldable phone Galaxy Z Fold 8. Some possible features of both of them have come to light, from which it can be estimated which phone will be more powerful.
Which foldable phone will have how much power?
display- The iPhone Fold will have a 5.3-inch cover and a 7.8-inch main display, on which no creases will be visible. If we compare it with Samsung’s Z Fold 8, it will have a 6.5-inch cover display, while the size of the main screen will be 8 inches. The aspect ratio of both the phones will be different.
camera- The front camera of iPhone Fold will be better, while Z Fold 8 can beat in terms of rear camera. Apple can provide a 48MP + 48MP dual camera setup in the rear of its first foldable phone and an 18MP front camera each on both the displays. On the other hand, Z Fold 8 can be given a triple rear camera setup of 200MP+50MP+12MP and two sensors of 10MP-10MP on both the front displays.
Performance- Apple can provide A20 Pro chipset manufactured on TSMC’s 2nm process in its foldable, which will be paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Whereas Z Fold 8 will get Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which will be prepared on 3nm process. It will be paired with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Battery- Z Fold 8 is expected to have a 5,000mAh battery, which can support 45W fast charging. On the other hand, no information has been received yet regarding the battery capacity and charging speed of the iPhone, but it is believed that Apple will provide strong battery efficiency in it.
