South Central Railway has announced recruitment for thousands of apprentice posts. This opportunity is especially for those youth who have passed 10th and have done ITI. A total of 2801 posts will be filled through this recruitment, due to which a large number of youth can get employment opportunities. Candidates can apply through the method mentioned here.
The application process for this recruitment has started online and interested candidates can fill their form through the official website. The last date to apply has been fixed as 11 April 2026. In such a situation, any candidate who wants to apply will have to complete the process in time.
Who can apply?
Some important conditions have been laid down to apply for this recruitment. The candidate must have passed 10th from a recognized board and his total marks should be at least 50 percent. Along with this, it is also mandatory to have ITI certificate in the relevant trade, which should be from an institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT. Talking about age, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 15 years and maximum at 24 years. This age limit will be decided on the basis of the last date of application i.e. 11 April 2026.

Selection will be done without examination
The most important thing about this recruitment is that there will be no written examination. Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of average of 10th and ITI marks. The marks of both will be given equal importance. That means, candidates who have good marks will have more chances of selection.
What is the application fee?
The application fee for this recruitment has been kept at Rs 100. Candidates will have to deposit this fee through online medium. For this, options like net banking, debit card, credit card or UPI are available. While depositing the fees, candidates will have to enter their registered mobile number, email ID and application number.
