In such a situation, the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies started in Mumbai has emerged as a strong platform for the youth. This institute has been started on the initiative of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in the Public-Private Partnership model, where along with studies, there is also direct connection with the industry.

Currently 18 types of courses are running in this institute. These include subjects like animation, gaming, VFX, comic art and extended reality. The duration of the course ranges from three months to two years, so that students can choose the option according to their need and time. The good thing is that scholarship of 10 to 25 percent is also being given here on the basis of merit. At present around 300 students are studying here. The institute is currently being run from the Mumbai campus of National Film Development Corporation (NFDC). Four modern floors have been prepared here, which include smart classroom, advanced lab and startup incubation center.

The specialty of this institute is its industry connection. Here partnerships have been made with big companies like Google, Meta, Microsoft, Apple, Adobe and Nvidia. Students studying here say that along with studies, special emphasis is given on practical training in the institute.
