The recruitment process of Special Educator has been started in Uttar Pradesh to provide better education to children with special needs. This recruitment is a good opportunity for those candidates who are interested in working with disabled children. The last date of application has been fixed as 26th March, hence it is important for the interested candidates to apply on time. The main objective of this recruitment is to select such qualified teachers who can provide proper education to the disabled, deaf, blind, blind and other special needs children. The role of a Special Educator is slightly different from a normal teacher, because they have to adopt special techniques of teaching as per the needs of the children. This recruitment will promote inclusive education in the state.
Ability
Candidates applying for these posts must have special qualifications in the relevant field. The candidate must have knowledge of Braille or sign language, which will be required as per the post. Apart from this, it is mandatory for the candidate to be registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). This registration is proof that the candidate is trained in the field of special education and is qualified to teach students with disabilities.
How will the selection process happen?
The selection of candidates in this recruitment will be done in two phases, so that the selection of the most eligible candidates can be ensured.
- written examination
First of all, candidates will have to give a written examination. This examination will be based on objective type i.e. multiple choice questions. A total of 100 questions will be asked and each question will carry 1 mark.
The knowledge of the candidates will be assessed in this examination, which will especially include topics related to disability, child development and education. - skill test
After passing the written examination, the candidates will have to give a skill test. In this stage, the ability to use Braille and sign language will be tested. Exam Pattern and Syllabus
To prepare for the exam, it is very important to understand its pattern and syllabus. The written examination will be of 100 marks and the time given in it will be 120 minutes. Questions will be objective and negative marking of 1/4 mark will also be applicable on every wrong answer.
