
Regular physical activity is very important to get relief from fatty liver. Exercises like brisk walking, cycling or swimming help in reducing the fat accumulated in the liver. According to research, at least 150 minutes of moderate level exercise should be done a week. This not only burns fat but also improves insulin sensitivity and blood circulation, due to which the liver is able to function properly.

Green leafy vegetables like spinach, fenugreek and broccoli are considered very beneficial for the liver. The vitamins, minerals and antioxidants present in them help in cleaning the liver and reduce inflammation. These vegetables slow down the process of fat accumulation in the liver, thereby keeping the problem of fatty liver under control.
