A big and important warning has come to the fore for students and parents across the country. As soon as the time of college admission comes, many institutions start making big claims, but all that glitters is not gold. Making this clear, the University Grants Commission has warned people in strict words not to take admission in Rajeev Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management located in Bhiwadi, Alwar district of Rajasthan. UGC has included this institute in the list of fake universities.
UGC’s strict warning
The Commission has said that this institute is not recognized under Section 2(f) and Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. That means it has no right to give degree. The degrees issued till now will neither be valid for further studies nor will they be useful in government jobs. UGC has appealed to parents, students and general public to stay away from such “self-made” institutions.
Notice has already been issued
Even in February 2026, UGC had issued a notice and included the name of this institute in the fake list. After this, a warning has been given again, so that no student takes admission here even by mistake. UGC, which works under the Ministry of Education of the Central Government, alerts people by releasing such lists from time to time.
