Help The Boy: Physics Puzzle doesn’t waste time getting you thinking. You’re tossed into a series of bite-sized levels—each with its own strange collection of objects, platforms, switches or ropes that practically dare you to experiment. One round you’re moving boxes around to redirect a ball, the next you might be trying to wedge something heavy on a lever just right. It’s interesting how sometimes the simplest approach is wrong and overthinking trips you up; the solution might be right there if you slow down. Most of the game plays out in crisp little scenes that mix cartoonish art with these almost Rube Goldberg-style contraptions. It’s fun but not too childish—though younger players could definitely jump in as long as they have patience for trial and error (and maybe some help when they get stumped). You know, this would make a good game for parents and kids together. Some puzzles feel like quick wins but others really drag your brain across the finish line—I got stuck more than I expected at first, honestly. There isn’t any wild timer pressure or messy controls though; just you, gravity, and an odd assortment of things to push or drag around until that little kid finally makes it free.

I went in expecting another lightweight mobile puzzler but Help The Boy surprised me with its tricky physics setups. At first I breezed through several levels—until I hit one where my usual brute force logic got me nowhere. That part really matters, really. Suddenly every object felt significant. The controls are fine (sometimes picking up small items felt fiddly on my phone) but nothing too frustrating overall. Actually, some solutions were so simple after all my wild ideas—that was humbling! There are moments when hints would’ve been nice though; sometimes being stuck breaks the flow. It kept me engaged longer than most games like this, especially thanks to those unpredictable level designs.
