Description
World of Alice: Quantities is aimed mostly at young kids just starting to grasp numbers and counting. It doesn’t pretend to be something flashy or complicated—honestly, the whole thing is pretty direct. You get bright, cartoonish scenes and a simple touch-and-tap interface that’s easy for little hands (and attention spans) to manage. The main point? Recognizing quantities by matching numbers with groups of items scattered around the screen.
Pacing is gentle; you’re not pushed by timers or competitive streaks here. Kids can take their time, try things out, even make mistakes without any fuss—actually, I think that really helps build confidence. There’s some soft sound feedback when you get something right or wrong, which makes it feel friendly rather than punitive.
It’s interesting how it manages to feel game-like without ever losing its focus on learning. Some parents might find it a bit basic after a while; others will probably appreciate how clean and uncluttered it is for early learners. If there’s one odd thing—well—it’s that a few prompts repeat more than you’d expect.
I suppose if you have a child who loves touching colorful things on screens (and really, most do), this is likely worth trying out.

I gave World of Alice: Quantities a shot with my niece on my tablet. At first, she was pretty excited by all the bright colors and friendly characters—it definitely caught her attention quickly enough! Once we got going though, I noticed some repetition in the prompts and mini-games; it didn’t bother her much, but as an adult watching over her shoulder, I kind of wished there was just a bit more variety.
What I did appreciate was how forgiving the game felt—mistakes weren’t punished and she seemed happy to keep poking around until she figured each answer out herself. That part really matters for building up math confidence at this age, really.
Overall? If your kid likes interactive stories or tapping through picture books on your phone or computer, this one seems like an easy win—but I wouldn’t expect it to entertain them endlessly.
