Description

This one’s pretty simple at first glance—just tap to bounce your little ball up and up through the middle of the screen. But don’t let that fool you; it doesn’t stay forgiving for long. Each side is lined with sharp, spiky corners that seem like they’re almost waiting for you to slip up. Every tap sends your ball hopping upwards, right past these menacing edges, so timing really matters—like, really. I found myself almost holding my breath some rounds just trying not to smack into a pointy bit. There’s no music blaring or wild effects, just a clean background that keeps all your focus on that relentless upward motion and those hazards. Sometimes I’d get this feeling: “Alright, this time I’ll beat my last score,” but it rarely works out quite so easily. High scores come from steady nerves more than anything else. Honestly, if you enjoy quick-reflex games where it all comes down to patience and timing (and maybe a bit of luck), Dont Hit The Sharp scratches that itch without overwhelming the senses. No upgrades or extra fluff here—it’s all skill-based and about lasting longer each run.

First few tries in Dont Hit The Sharp had me thinking, “Okay, I’ve got this.” Didn’t take long before I crashed straight into those spikes though—and then it was kind of addictive. It has this weirdly tense feeling every round because even a slight mis-tap sends your ball flying into danger. The lack of flashy distractions actually helps you zone in too much sometimes… maybe even overthink moves here and there! After a while it gets repetitive since there aren’t power-ups or new backgrounds to break things up. Still, it’s oddly satisfying going just one bounce farther than before (even if only by luck). Worth picking up when you want something fast and twitchy—but don’t expect big surprises along the way.
