Description
Magic World: New era Match3 PRG is that kind of mash-up you get when puzzle games go on an epic fantasy trip. It’s mostly classic match-3 on the surface—matching colored gems to trigger attacks or power up your heroes—but there’s more layered underneath. You’re not just sliding pieces for points; each match powers up different abilities and if you think less about brute force and more about careful planning, that part really matters, really.
You collect heroes along the way (with their own backstories and elemental strengths), which means there’s a bit of team building before every campaign. There’s something satisfying about piecing together a squad that feels like it could actually take down a titan… or maybe just barely survive if you pick wrong.
PvP puts you up against other players’ squads as well, so there’s that competitive angle if you get tired of fighting computer-controlled monsters all day. The pace jumps around: slow when you’re strategizing team upgrades and hero training; fast when matches start falling into place quickly and suddenly everything explodes in color.
To be honest, people who like both strategy and fantasy worlds will probably stick with this one longer than casual puzzlers just dipping in. It isn’t just about matching tiles but pulling off clutch moves at the right time. Sometimes I wish it explained its systems with a little less text though.

So I jumped into Magic World figuring it was another quick puzzle fix—match three gems here, power up there. But then I realized how much tinkering goes into making your team work; sometimes I’d spend ages reordering my heroes or swapping out artifacts before even starting a fight. At first I liked having so many choices but after an hour or two it got overwhelming (and honestly, the tutorial sort of throws everything at you).
Still, there’s something weirdly fun about watching your planned combos fire off perfectly—or completely flop because one gem didn’t drop where you needed it.
I do wish PvP wasn’t so hit-or-miss depending on random matchmaking luck. Well, it keeps things unpredictable? Some days it frustrated me though. Overall… yeah, Magic World kept me coming back for "just one more run," even if half the time I was quietly cursing my bad luck.
