Description
So, Gun Match Screw doesn’t really play out like any of your typical mobile puzzlers. You’re given these gun-shaped boards, kind of quirky in design honestly, each packed with colored screws—well, they look more like bullets if you squint a little. The idea? Unlock all panels by matching up the colors; each board has its own twist on arrangement and sometimes it just throws your brain for a loop. You fill six-slot magazines as you go along (it’s a subtle nod to classic shooters, I suppose), which feels oddly satisfying when you line everything up right. Every time you complete a magazine set, it swaps out for a new empty one.
Actually, what makes it different is that spare slots are limited—you only get five extra spots to stash unmatched bullets while figuring things out. It’s not hectic but there’s this persistent need to plan two or three steps ahead because one wrong move can leave you with no place left to store anything useful. That part really matters, really.
Pacing-wise? Not too fast but rarely drags; mistakes happen but most levels won’t punish curiosity right away. Hard to say who exactly it’s for—I guess anyone who likes logic puzzles and something with an oddball weapon-themed flair might enjoy this the most.
It’s interesting how quickly time disappears while playing.

I went into Gun Match Screw kind of expecting another mindless match puzzle clone, but after a few rounds I realized there’s actually quite a bit to think about here. Matching colored screws with the bullet magazine system is clever—gives your brain something real to chew on rather than just matching gems or candies for points. Sometimes the gun-themed graphics feel almost silly (in a fun way), though I’ll admit some boards started looking too similar after playing longer sessions.
It isn’t perfect—the spare slots sometimes feel overly limited and can box you in if you miscalculate early on. Still, the game rarely feels unfair; usually my mistakes were my own fault.
To be honest, once I got into the flow I didn’t want to stop after just one level.
