Description
Super Basketball Bluey is one of those games that looks easy—until you’re two shots down and the hoop starts drifting just out of reach. The core mechanic is all about swiping to set your power and angle, then letting go. That’s pretty much it at first glance, but the pace ramps up faster than you’d expect.
There are three shots per level. Only three. So every basket counts, really counts. The hoops start off steady but quickly add unpredictable movement; sometimes they bob, other times they slide sideways or jerk up unexpectedly. This isn’t just about getting your thumb in rhythm—it’s about adapting when things shift abruptly.
Visually it’s got this cartoonish vibe—a bit playful but crisp enough that you can actually track the ball well. That helps when things get chaotic (and they do).
It’s interesting how just a simple tap-and-slide system turns into a weirdly tense experience when you realize one slip-up means restarting. Maybe not for folks who want depth or upgrades—there’s nothing like that here, so don’t expect player progression or new balls popping up.
Still, it has this old-school addictiveness to it—the kind where five minutes stretches into half an hour before you notice.
I mean, if you like classic arcade pressure, there’s something satisfying in nailing that perfect shot as the hoop shifts away at the last second.

At first I honestly thought Super Basketball Bluey would be just another quick-boredom mobile game. It fooled me there—I ended up retrying levels over and over for much longer than I planned. There’s this sneaky tension whenever I have only one ball left and the hoop starts zigzagging unexpectedly.
To be honest, I wish there were more variety—like maybe some unlockables or visual rewards along the way—but maybe that would’ve ruined its bite-size simplicity? The controls are tight; occasionally I’d fumble a swipe and blame myself instead of the game (which is probably fair).
The cartoon look is easy on the eyes and doesn’t get in the way of gameplay at all.
So it’s not deep but it kept me hooked with its straightforward frustration—and weirdly enough, I kept going back for one more shot.
