Description

Ghost Ninja throws you right into the heat—a tight, almost claustrophobic arena packed with enemies that just… keep coming. There’s barely time to breathe before the next wave starts swarming in from every corner. You’re a nimble assassin here, slashing and dashing, always moving because if you slow down for even a second? That’s usually it. The rhythm is fast—sometimes too fast—but it hooks you in. Most of the time I found myself desperately searching for those glowing gems after finishing a wave (they drop everywhere), hoping to grab an upgrade before things got messy again. Weapons stack up in such surprising ways, especially if you experiment rather than stick to what seems safe at first glance. Actually, that experimentation is half the fun. There are runs where you’ll feel overpowered, dancing through crowds, while other times bad luck with upgrades makes survival pretty rough. Kind of keeps you coming back for “just one more” try. It’s not a deep story-driven game—it doesn’t pretend to be—but there is some satisfaction in squeezing out a few extra minutes every run. Oh—and while it gets really tough later on, that part really matters, really.

Jumping into Ghost Ninja felt wild at first—the game wastes no time throwing me into the chaos. The early moments are frantic; I’m dodging shurikens left and right and slashing my way out of tight spots. After a few rounds though, I started appreciating how each run feels totally different thanks to all the random upgrades. Well, most of them at least—sometimes I’d pick stuff that didn’t mesh well together and paid for it fast. But honestly? The action can get repetitive if you’re not mixing things up often or chasing bigger combos. It keeps me coming back now and then for short sessions more than long hauls. Occasionally frustrating when unlucky with drops too—that’s just part of these games though. Would have liked maybe one or two extra arenas or visual changes between waves just to mix things up visually.
