Recruitment has been done for the posts of Project Nurse in Delhi’s Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital. This recruitment will be done through walk-in interview. The hospital administration has said that this appointment will be done under the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the selection will be based on direct interview. Candidates do not need to fill any online application, but will have to attend the interview with all the necessary documents on the scheduled date.
According to the information, walk-in interview will be held on 26 March 2026. Interested candidates will have to reach the concerned office of the hospital on the same day at the scheduled time. Before attending the interview, candidates have been advised to read the official information carefully, so that any kind of problem related to time and process can be avoided.
This recruitment will be done for a fixed period of 15 months. That means the selected candidates will get a chance to work only for the stipulated time. However, during this period they will be given a fixed salary every month. Salary is decided on the basis of experience. Freshers will get Rs 22 thousand per month, while candidates with two years or more experience will be given Rs 25 thousand per month. This amount will be fixed and no separate allowance will be included in it.
Who can apply
Talking about eligibility, only those candidates who have the degree of General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) or Assistant Nurse Midwifery (ANM) can participate in this recruitment. Along with this, candidates should have general knowledge of Word, Excel and email. Basic understanding of working on computer is also important. The maximum age of the applying candidate has been fixed at 35 years.
What is important?
Selected candidates will have to perform many important responsibilities in the hospital. They will have to check the eligibility of the patients as per the prescribed rules. Taking written consent from women, recording necessary medical information and examining the cervix will also be part of their work. Apart from this, it will also be their responsibility to record the results of the investigation correctly and keep all the records safe. It will also be necessary to handle the documents related to the clinical study carefully and take care of the equipment used. The hospital has made it clear that this work will have to be done with full responsibility and caution.
Important documents are required
Candidates attending the interview will have to bring all the necessary documents with them. These include identity card, educational certificate, experience certificate (if any), category certificate and passport size photograph. Along with this, self-attested photocopies of all the documents will also have to be brought. It is advised to bring the filled application form along with you if needed.
