Description
Gift Drop throws you into this quirky Christmas rescue, but there’s a twist—Santa’s not squeezing down any chimneys, he’s trapped smack in the middle of a gloomy forest. The challenge? You need to clear the path for his escape by getting rid of every box except the grass platform beneath him. It sounds straightforward at first glance, but actually, timing and quick thinking really matter here. Every level shakes things up; sometimes it feels like you’re balancing fate on a single click.
The gameplay is mostly about tapping away obstacles while making sure that Santa (or rather, his red-and-white present) lands safely on the grass below—otherwise, well, back to square one. Some blocks help you more than others. There are moments when you pause and have to eyeball what might happen two moves ahead, which keeps you on your toes.
It works nicely for all ages—kids can pick up the basics quickly, but grown-ups will definitely get stuck once or twice around level 30 or so.
It’s interesting how each stage finds new ways to trip you up without changing much visually. The pace is pretty relaxed—you can take it slow or rush through easy rounds. Honestly, if you like short puzzle bursts with just enough frustration mixed in to keep things interesting, Gift Drop has its charm.

So I started Gift Drop expecting just another quick holiday game where Santa shows up for some lighthearted fun. Turns out it made me stop and rethink my moves more than I’d planned! It starts simple—just tap boxes away—but soon enough I found myself groaning over gifts tumbling offscreen because I missed something obvious.
I liked that even with pretty basic graphics and mechanics, there was always this itch to try ‘just one more time.’ The physics aren’t perfect; sometimes things feel a bit floaty or unpredictable when blocks vanish—but maybe that’s part of the appeal?
Honestly though, after a dozen levels I wished for maybe a little more variety in visuals or music; hearing the same jingle could get old fast. Still... there were plenty of those little win moments that kept me going. Not flawless, but oddly satisfying.
