Description

Blast Sprunki leans right into that kind of puzzle design where every move counts—sometimes painfully so. You have this adorable green character, Sprunki, and your entire job is to get them from point A to B, but not the easy way: you place explosives underneath them, watch the physics fly (literally), and then nervously hope they land in the safe zone instead of right on a spike or tumbling off the map. The way you set up bombs matters more than you’d think at first—just plopping them down won’t cut it, really. It’s interesting how quickly it goes from cute to “oh no, I’ve blown up my own plan.” Some levels are quickfire bursts of trial-and-error frustration; others have that ‘just one more try’ thing going for them. You earn stars by solving puzzles with as few blasts as possible—a detail that really does get under your skin after a while if you’re a perfectionist type. Not every level feels entirely fair—sometimes there’s a bit of fiddliness when trying to nudge Sprunki just right—but overall there’s a quirky satisfaction in watching your plan (usually) work out. This isn’t strictly for hardcore puzzlers; casual players can still poke around and enjoy themselves without getting too bogged down. Honestly, there’s something appealing about helping a little green block avoid disaster using nothing but your wits... and some well-placed dynamite.

The first time I played Blast Sprunki I thought it would be easy—wrong assumption on my part! After watching poor Sprunki go flying onto spikes for the third time because I misjudged bomb placement, I started taking things slower. There’s definitely a certain dark humor to how much chaos you can create with just one bad tap. To be honest though, sometimes it feels like luck plays a bigger role than skill in certain levels—like, there was one where no matter how carefully I planned the bounce angle, things got weird anyway. But when you finally nail three stars on a tricky stage? That part really matters, really. Some sound effects got repetitive after extended play, but it didn't pull me out entirely. It’s fun in short sessions.
